VRTech at Dubai International Film Festival

December 12, 2017

VRTech showed the possibilities of its developments at the Dubai Film Market on December 8-11, 2017 during the Dubai International Film Festival.

VRTech Marketing Director Alexey Morozov spoke at the panel discussion "The Third Dimension: Innovations in Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality" on December 7. He talked about VR as a social experience and a need for VR infrastructure in Russia. "VRTech aims to make VR experience valuable for the player," Morozov said.

VRTech presented CinemaVR games based on movies. Over two hundred people tried them. Even French Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Ludovic Pouille and DIFF Chairman Abdulhamid Juma played western game RevolVR. Film Market visitors asked when VRTech would appear in Dubai and, unlike Russian players, more often refused to play against each other — in this case they played PiratesVR.

At the Dubai film market VRTech negotiated with an investment fund from the United Arab Emirates regarding the development of industrial simulators, as well as the construction of a large amusement park in Saudi Arabia with an investment fund from this country.

Dubai Film Market is a business event for film industry representatives. DIFF was held for the 14th time. It promotes film production from Arab countries.
